RLAH Real Estate’s Annual Philanthropy Drive Raises More than $22,000 for Local DMV Charities
WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 10, 2022) - RLAH Real Estate recently completed their 2021 Philanthropy Drive, in which the company’s real estate agents raised a total of $22,331 for three DC Metro Charities: Pathways to Housing DC, Rebuilding Together, and United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP).
Through the RLAH Philanthropy Drive initiative, agents are able to donate a percentage of each closed home sale from October 2021 to December 2021 to their choice of one of the three charities.
RLAH’s mission states that they strive, "to create meaningful relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and respect for consumers and our clients'' and “to foster a professional work environment where people of all shapes, sizes, interests, and needs live together, are respected and celebrated.” RLAH Philanthropy is an effort to extend those aspirations into the greater community that we serve and sell.
“Our roots run throughout the greater Washington area,” said RLAH President Justin Levitch. “That’s why it’s so important for us to continuously give back to the organizations that improve our communities and make the DMV an even better place to live.”
This year's charities were chosen by our Management Advisory Group, made up of six RLAH agents who represent their peers. In order to be selected, the charities must be local, real estate related and provide volunteer opportunities for RLAH agents. The selected charities were as follows:
Pathways to Housing DC: The mission of Pathways to Housing DC is to transform individual lives by ending homelessness and supporting recovery for people with disabilities.
Rebuilding Together: Through repairing homes, Rebuilding Together serves its mission to rebuild lives. Volunteers and sponsors help transform neighborhoods in Washington DC and Alexandria into vibrant places - restoring pride, dignity and hope in the communities.
United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP): UCAP is dedicated to the wellbeing of those whose quality of life has been negatively impacted by poverty, unemployment, homelessness, crime and inadequate public health services in PG County, MD.
Throughout the year, RLAH will continue to give back to its community however possible. It’s through initiatives such as the annual Philanthropy Drive that our agents are able to make a large impact in their own communities. We look forward to increasing the amount of money donated year after year.
