FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GCAAR ANNOUNCES 2021 ANNUAL AWARD WINNERS,
TWO RLAH REAL ESTATE AGENTS HONORED
WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 24, 2021) - The Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) announced today its winners for their2021 Annual Awards and RLAH is proud to have two agents awarded out of the three total awards. Omar Gonzales is GCAARās Good Neighbor Award winner and Jordan Chronopolous is GCAARās Rookie of the Year. Their hard work, dedication to their business and clients, and their service in the community have made them more than deserving of these notable awards.
āOmar and Jordan embody everything that RLAH stands for,ā said President Justin Levitch. āNot only do each of them thrive in their individual careers, they go above and beyond to help their communities. We could not be more proud to work alongside them and be there to personally experience all of the incredible things they accomplish.ā
The GCAAR Good Neighbor Award is awarded to one of GCAARās 10,000 members who has made a significant difference as a volunteer for a charity benefiting Montgomery County and/or the Washington DC community. Omar Gonzalez, who has been a REALTORĀ® for 10 years and is licensed in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland, dedicates his time and money to several area nonprofits that assist disadvantaged residents and strengthen the communities in which he lives and works. Gonzalez is a volunteer soccer coach and mentor to refugee boys through Champions in Action; pays studentsā tuition and helps to raise funds at Dematha Soccer Academy; and travels to Central and South America with National Community Church to help young women who have been victimized by human trafficking.
The GCAAR Rookie of the Year honor is awarded to one of GCAARās members who provides continuous, dedicated service to enhance the quality of their profession and their REALTORĀ® associations. To qualify as a ārookie,ā members must have been licensed for the first time after January 1st, 2017. When 2021 GCAAR Rookie of the Year Jordan Chronopoulos became a REALTORĀ® in 2019, his goal, besides his own professional success, was to better the REALTORĀ® community through relationships and public advocacy. Chronopoulos has attended all GCAAR Young Professionals Network (YPN) events for the last two years, and he heads up the events subcommittee. He has been an REALTORSĀ® Political Action Committee (RPAC) investor since he began his career in real estate, and has earned several certifications and taken professional development courses to increase his industry knowledge and capabilities. In his free time, Chronopoulos helps to feed middle schoolers through the KIND Foundation, repair homes for people in need through the nonprofit Rebuilding Together, and volunteers at dog shows with Partnership for Animal Welfare.
RLAH Real Estate could not be more proud to be associated with these two incredible agents. We continue to foster an environment for our agents to strive towards success and recognition through their hard work and dedication to their business and their causes.
